What a difference a day makes!

Within 24 hours, the heatwave has broke! I woke up to cool weather, breezes and sunshine. No humidity, no hot heat and dry weather. Ahhhhhhhhhh.....
We are off to the beach today with my gal pal Suzanne and her daughter. Bugaboo Girl is now crazed about the beach. You even say the word, she winces her eyes, shrugs her shoulders, clasps her hands in front of her with a big cheesy smile and squeals "beeeeeeeeeeeeeeach!". Any time she sees a picture either on TV, a magazine or her out and about baby book that has a beach seen, she makes the sound what was once called the "happy kitty" squeal. I would love to just bottle that sound and look that she has. It is contagious!

I can remember when I was little, my sister and I would be up all night squealing with excitement if we were going to the beach the next morning! I guess my parents never learned to wait and tell us in the morning.

I think you sent the heat our way. It's supposed to be 97 degrees in the Denver metro area today (of course, no humidity, though....). I might have to crank up the AC.

Have fun at the beach!

Thanks for stopping by...

Can you send some cool weather to Sweet home Alabama- it has been so hot and humid since we got back from our trip to NY-yuck!

My little one who just turned two also loves the beach and any time she sees water of anykind she screams "BEACH!"

Oh, we had a heat wave a while back. Brutal for early June. We have enjoyed a lot of rain since then to cool things down a bit. Usually my grass looks like a brown field but it actually has some green in it this July!

Glad you are enjoying some cooler temps!

So this will go down in family history as the "beach summer!" That's awesome. What great memories you are making.
