Martini may look happy, but this big kitty is a little under the weather! He has an upper respiratory infection, sneezing and coughing. Yup, cats get colds too! Poor kitty, seems to be comfortable in my vegetable basket. And no there are no vegetables in it right now!

I am pretty lucky that I think I have a lot of patience, not sure if you inherit it but my mom has it, not so much my father, must be the Polish side of the family, mom being Italian. I hope my daughter gets it, and seems to have it right now, let's keep it that way.
My mother and I were out yesterday, just going to go to the store, she lives in an area with a lot of "summer people", I sure you understand that, nothing against them, I grew up here and know it is a fact during the summer months. Anyway, we have Bugaboo Girl in the car, pull into an aisle and I see someone just getting into a car to pull out. Let me give you a timeline...maybe sitting there for at the most 30 seconds while she is getting ready to pull out. All of the sudden I have a woman behind me beeping the horn, arms flailing at me and yelling through her car, not that I can hear her but I am sure I can read what she is saying, pushing me to get out of the way. Of course, the Italian came out in me, arms in the air, no expletives but I do wish she could have heard me. Then the best part was I slightly moved over, by now it has been all of a little over a minute in time, she drove VERY quickly by me, of course I was still coming out with a few lines as she probably was looking in her rear view mirror at us, and HAD to slow down almost hitting a handicap person walking out of the parking lot! What's the hurry? Need milk that badly? This is not an emergency room, hospital or police department, this is a grocery store! You might think I was talking about someone who is maybe in their 20's or even a teenager, nope, she was definitely older and should be much wiser!
Have you had an instance like this and a confrontation? Parking lots seem to be good for this!

We are all effected by it! If it is not the price of gas, it is the cost of groceries or even passing on a family vacation that is normally taken in the summer. Yes, even the blogs are effected by the Recession!
I am always out to help fellow bloggers, I treat people how I would like to be treated, simple as that! So I do read a lot of blogs and DO post a lot of comments, as my fellow blogger friends know! So for the month of August, Motherhood Uncensored is hosting a Blog the Recession where we all click through the feed emails we receive and check the blog, post a comment, help a fellow blogger continue their work! It is cheaper than a tank of gas!

I am in the need to organize my papers for my blog. I have not taken a picture of my desk to post on Tackle it Tuesday because it is way too shameful! How boring to be looking at brown file folders, yellow accordion folders, green magazine holders and blah post notes.
