Just so you know......

Hi! I am still here, just have not been available to get on the computer. We have three computers in our house, all with a few issues and to top it off, we decided to sign up with a new network. Right now, my husband is trying to get them all running, install new software and get back on track. If your day job is an IT position, than this would be done in a day. Needless to say, he is not but is knowledgeable enough to get it done.

So what is new while I have your attention? Christmas is over, New Years is past and now we settle on starting up a whole new year. I, like everyone else, felt like I was non stop with the holidays from thanksgiving until this past weekend. Not to mention my husband was home for two weeks in between Christmas and New Year's, he went back today. Is it me or does it seem like cleaning is twice as much along with cooking and chores during that two week period? I also felt like I was eating more than usual during the big spread of time between the holidays. I feel like I have to focus on going back to eating basics such as one cup of coffee a day instead of three to four and no cookies, cakes or desserts every night! I did check myself today and seemed to have gained only 2 pounds, must have been the chocolate mousse cake at the in-laws house we ate for at least four meals! In the end I had a wonderful Christmas and a quiet New Year's Eve. Some great pictures to come and amusing stories, one being putting together a kitchen set at 3am Christmas eve. I know I am not the only one who did this!!!!! Was anyone else up at this time doing the same?

Well my time is up and I still have a lot to say but will hopefully get back by the end of the week.

Hi Robin, I saw where you have The Pond in your list of blogs. Thanks so much! I have put your button on The Pond. We bloggers have to help each other! Hope your computers get fixed soon. I would be lost without mine.

Technical issues can be frustrating and require lots of patience! It's nice that your husband can at least put it all together and it's OK if it takes a little longer. :)
