I cannot take credit for this story, I just happen to get it from my father-in-law and was confirmed yesterday.
Christopher Dodd, our Senator who lives about 10 minutes away from us(guess which home) stopped by the local gas station and proceeded to pick out two eggs out of a dozen egg carton. When he was told that they do not sell eggs individually, he said that he did not need the whole dozen as he was only in town for a couple of days.
O.k., so here are my points on this amusing incident.
- Could he not have given the extra to his neighbor?
- Doesn't he want to support his local economy?
- Would you think he just lost another voter who will spread this around the town area he lives in? And a gas station with many locals coming in?
- Where is it you can buy eggs individually? I do not know anywhere that does this!
Thank you Senator Dodd for adding more fule to the fire.
