Connecticut Child Identification Program

My daughter and I went to the Snoopy Fair last Saturday in our town. We had a great time with making crafts, activities and seeing other children her age she will be going to school with. The Connecticut Freemasons Foundation also sponsor the CT CHIP, Connecticut Child Identification Program where they offer a complete information tool pack to identify your child if ever your child was missing. The packet includes fingerprints, toothprints, cheek swab for DNA and a digital video picture of your child along with questions they or you answer.

I took the opportunity to complete the information for my daughter, and plan on putting it away for safe keeping, updating it every year. God help us if something happened where you needed to use it but I feel safer knowing I have it.

Sounds like a really good idea. I have a microchip in case I am lost but that’s a bit big brother for humans ;-)
