Dodd has to know he has a battle on his hands for the next election. A recent Quinnipiac poll showed Dodd trailing former GOP Rep. Rob Simmons by 16 points, more so than the last poll done about a month ago. There is a new candidate who threw his hat in this past week, received a letter in the mail from Sam Caliguiri from Waterbury wanting my backing for his campaign against Dodd. Not going to happen as long as Rob Simmons is in.
For Dodd, it certainly does not help him being in the spotlight of AIG and Countrywide. As long as those issues are in the news, he is going to be haunted by them. He does not seem to be making good decisions for fundraising either, hosting an upcoming fundraiser with an invite list of several hedgefund managers, hmmmm...does that conflict with the committee he is on? Probably not but it certainly does not look good!

Breakfast is the most important meal of the day, a kick start and I do believe that it also sets the tone on your mood for the day. I like to vary breakfast so you do not get bored of the same thing every day. It has to taste good, be good for you and not take a lot of time to prepare. I am usually half awake trying to put together breakfast and lunch for my husband on his way out the door, feeding the cat and the dog and my daughter wants her breakfast as soon as she is up, no rest for the weary! I recently had the opportunity to try a new product from Kellogg's, Eggo Bake shop Twists. I admit it, I am sceptical when it comes to buying this sort of pre-made breakfast item. I am happy to say once I tried the Eggo Bake Shop Twists, I was pleasantly surprised.
Kellogg's Bake Shop Twists come in apple and strawberry, which happens to be my daughter's two favorite flavors. I was thrilled to see that the time to prepare them is minimal, 25 seconds in the microwave and two minutes of sitting time. How can you beat that for preparing a break fast? How do they taste? The Eggo Bake Shop Twists have a considerable amount of filling and sugar crystals sprinkled on top, giving them a slightly sweet taste, but not too much. The pastry is light, and was enjoyed by all. My daughter gave 10 fingers up with a "more" stated when trying both flavors.
On the go or staying in for breakfast, the Kellogg's Eggo Bake Shop Twists are a good choice. I loved the fact that the time it took to make them, gave me the time to sit down and enjoy my cup of coffee!

Do you know how much the 2010 budget for the United States Government may cost you? More than you think!
For my family, a family of three it would cost me $27,802.97. I am completely disgusted if it is even in the ballpark of this number! Budget resolutions do not start until October 1 but it is not too early to voice your opinion. Want to see what it may cost you and read more about it? Might as well brush up on how it impacts your personal household budget! Pop on over to here to calculate your cost.

In case you missed the episode last night, you can check it out here. Dennis Rodman was the Project Manager for the men where they had to run a Lowe's Hotel for a small group of rooms, his chance to prove that he can be responsible and not always be the goof. This was not an easy task for either group being they had a crash course in each aspect of handling 5 rooms from check in to check out. Dennis started out pretty good, delegating what was needed and then it took a turn once he started ordering cranberry vodka drinks from the kitchen. The guys still worked well together considering they had to deal with Dennis and his manic personality. I think Jesse James will be in it until the end. He is a work horse, the average guy, tells it like it is and does not hold back. He is not afraid to work hard and does not get wrapped up in the drama. Jesse spoke up in the board room what everyone had on their mind but did not say, that Dennis has a drinking problem. Even when Dennis tried to turn the table on Jesse pointing out the he also at one point in Jesse's life had a drinking problem, Jesse took the high road and did not get wrapped up in it. I am sure Jesse is gaining respect from more people now since he has been on this show than he would have ever realized. As for Dennis, it is a shame since he is a Basket Ball Champion who just seems to be lost in life.
